Here's a new article on the timeline for the What If? back-up story featuring the runaways as Young Avengers.

In this issue, Molly Hayes comes across Hank McCoy at La Brea Tar Pits. They chat about what it means for an entire race to be on the verge of extinction. Meanwhile, Scott Summers is offered the chance to bring the X-Men into the light, and Hope visits Mr. Fantastic for a medical checkup.

In this issue, the Runaways make a brief cameo appearance but don't appear to have the staying power of the 616 versions of themselves. Thanks to Ruth for writing this synopsis.

In the final issue of the series, the Drenx meet their match when faced with the Peak's alien captives including Noh-Varr, Beta Ray Bill and Karolina Dean. Beast will soon be starring in the upcoming Secret Avengers series.
