The runaways moved into the Malibu house when Leapfrog informed the team that it was a Pride safehouse. The runaways took care of the security daemons and the alarms and moved in. The house was much more comfortable than the Bronson Canyon and much less of a ‘hideout’ than the Tar Pits hostel. It had a garage housing several vehicles which Chase, in particular, was happy about. The house was first damaged when the Majesdanians attacked, destroying an exterior wall. Nico managed to scatter them and they covered up the attack by telling neighbors it was a gas explosion. Once fixed, the house was later blasted again when the Majesdanians returned. The house was then stable for a while, hosting the kids’ ‘prom night’ before disaster struck again. When a rogue drone plane hit the house, destroying the exterior wall once again, Klara flipped out and enveloped the house in a kind of plant prison. Nico eventually took care of that with a spell. Chase’s uncle, Hunter Stein, showed them a large garage on the property housing several Leapfrogs. They took one and fled, with the house ultimately being burnt down by the military.
